About this plant saucer

A round drip tray made to the pot that stands on it. Enter the diameter and height, choose whether to raise the pot on ribs, and download an STL to print. It is a plant drainage tray in the size you need, for a pot from a shop as much as one you printed, and there is no CAD to learn.

What people make with it

Each is a starting point. Open one and change it to your own pot. To make the pot as well, see the round plant pot, or make both together as a plant pot with saucer.

What you can change

  • Size. From 80 to 300 mm across, with a wall from 8 to 60 mm tall, in millimetres or inches.
  • Raised ribs. Lift the pot above the water the saucer collects, or leave the floor flat.
  • Ribs. Four to eight of them, and how far they rise from the floor.

Printing it

  • A flat dish with a straight wall: it prints as it stands, with no supports.
  • Choose your printer and the editor checks that the saucer fits its bed.
  • You download an STL or 3MF file, ready for your slicer.

Common questions

How big should the saucer be?

Wider than the base of the pot, so it catches the water that drains out. The ready-made sizes above are each 30 mm wider than the pot they are for.

What are the ribs for?

They lift the pot slightly above the saucer floor, so it does not stand in the water that collects there.

Will it fit a pot I already own?

Yes. It is made to the diameter you enter, so it suits any round pot whose base is smaller than the saucer.

Do I need an account?

No. You can generate and download without one. An account keeps your saved configurations, so you can come back to them.
