About this model

Daniel Norée designed the boat while working at Creative Tools, as a benchmarking tool for 3D printers. Paulo Kiefe, then the company's CEO, named it 3DBenchy, created 3DBenchy.com and uploaded the STL to 3D-printing repositories.

It is meant for testing print settings and comparing printers, so its makers ask that the original STL be used unchanged whenever it serves as a benchmark. This is that original single-part file.
