Preview of Cute articulated snake

Rendered from the file you download.

About this model

Its 25 segments print already linked, flat on the plate and without supports. Every joint swivels, so the snake curls around a finger, coils on a desk or drapes over the edge of a screen.

It is a quick single-colour print, well under an hour, which makes it easy to batch as party favours or to use as a first test of print-in-place joints.

What you need

From the creator’s instructions

In this download

  • One long articulated snake STL (25 linked segments).

Nothing else to buy: the download prints complete.

Before printing

  • Print flat with no supports; the segments print already linked.
  • Use millimetre units and do not rescale much, because the joints need their printed clearance.

How to use it

  1. After printing, flex each joint gently until the snake moves freely.
