About this desk stack
A 3D printed desk organizer with drawers, made to your desk: a tiered organizer on top of stackable drawers, all in one width and depth. Arrange the pieces, set each drawer's height, and download every file at once, as STLs or one 3MF. There is no CAD to learn.
What people make with it
- Six-bay desk organizer with two drawers: the six-bay organizer over a 90 mm and a 60 mm drawer, 200 × 240 mm.
- Three-drawer tower: three drawers, 60, 90 and 130 mm tall, and nothing on top.
- Wide studio organizer with two drawers: nine compartments over two drawers, 240 × 220 mm.
Each opens in this editor to change. To make one piece on its own, use the stackable desk organizer or the stackable storage drawer. See them all in the 3D printed desk organizers.
What you can change
- Width and depth. From 120 to 400 mm each, set once for the whole stack, in millimetres or inches. Every piece follows, which is what lets them stack.
- Pieces. A desk organizer on top, or none, over up to 6 drawers. Add, copy, remove and reorder them; each drawer keeps its letter wherever it goes.
- Drawers. Each its own height, from 50 to 200 mm, with its own grip and drawer fit.
- Organizer. Its compartments, and how high it is at the front and the back, from 20 to 150 mm in front and 40 to 250 mm at the back.
- Stacking. Set from the order: each piece locks onto the one below it, and the bottom one sits flat.
Printing it
- One generation builds every piece. Download each file on its own, all the STLs in one ZIP, or the whole stack in one 3MF.
- The shell is printed standing on its back, so no wall has to span the opening. The insert prints as it stands. The slot and the notch need no supports; the lip's level edge may need support, depending on your printer.
- It prints as it stands, floor down, with no supports. The stacking recesses are cut into the base and need none either.
- Choose your printer and the editor checks that every file fits its bed.
Common questions
Does each piece use one of my free generations?
No. The whole stack counts as one generation, however many pieces it has, and a piece you have not changed is not built again.
How do the pieces lock together?
Each piece has four raised tabs on top and four recesses underneath, placed from the width and depth alone, so pieces of one stack line up whatever their heights.
Can the drawers be different heights?
Yes. Each drawer has a height of its own, and they stack in any order you put them.
Do I need an account?
No. You can generate and download without one. A stack is kept in this browser tab while you work on it.
