Five 5 mm drainage holes let water through, and six 6 mm ribs hold the pot clear of it. Succulents, small cacti and fresh cuttings want soil that dries out between waterings, which is what the pair is for.

Top to bottom. Every piece is the same width and depth, which is what lets them stack: tabs on top of each drawer drop into recesses under the piece above it.
